Conquer Procrastination Course
A note about this course: I created this course during my previous work as a midlife coach and have kept it available as a free educational resource. I am now a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois and no longer practice as a coach. This course is for education and personal development and is not psychotherapy or a substitute for individualized mental health care.

Module 1 – The WHAT
LET’S GET STARTED!
In this module, you’ll learn what procrastination is (and is not) and who has a greater tendency to procrastinate. You’ll also hear about the many ways in which chronic procrastination hurts our lives. Then you’ll take a test to measure your level of procrastination and make a list of the tasks you commonly procrastinate on.
Module 2 – The WHY
In this module, you’ll discover the 3 most common excuses we give for procrastination and the 8 real reasons we actually delay completing important tasks. Then you’ll sort your list of procrastination tasks into those reasons so you have a better understanding of what is driving your needless delays.
I’m Hélène Stelian, LPC, NCC, MBA.
I created this course during my previous work as a midlife coach, when I focused on helping women navigate personal growth, reinvention, and meaningful next chapters.
Since then, I’ve embarked on a new chapter of my own. I returned to graduate school and am now a Licensed Professional Counselor and psychotherapist in Illinois, working with adults and couples at Skylight Counseling Center.
I’ve kept these courses freely available because I believe they continue to offer useful opportunities for reflection, learning, and growth.
